Here is a great demo that not just incorporates a product demo but is also funny with sort of a elevator pitch/presentation video by my buddy Ryan Hupfer. By adding a toolbar plugin to your browser, Photocrank allows you to add captions and pictures on top of photographs on the internet which it refers to as "cranking" a photo. There is also a widget that can be added to any website or blog that allows your readers to add text or graphics to any pictures on your website. The product demo can be interesting to watch and you may either think its funny or find it stupid and annoying.
There is yet another web 2.0 website that uses merges nternet browsing with a social aspect. Kiobo helps you discover new websites using you and your friends' browsing habits. It allows you to see what your friends are browsing and also discover new websites and other people with similar interests. I like how it uses a visualization and icons to display other people and what they are browsing. It is pretty neat just to look at the visual display as people move onto other websites, you can see their icons move to the corresponding tag icon.
